Winter Essential Oils
Citrus and Spice Blend In the days before air shipment and large scale trucking networks, fresh fruit was a rare and expensive treat in the depths of winter. A single fresh orange was considered a special gift -- or an orange might be studded with cloves, rolled in ground spices and carefully dried to preserve its pungent aroma for months to come. The bright scent of citrus and spice can melt the feelings of lethargy that often accompanies winter. Add 12 drops per ounce of tepid water and mist the air throughout your home.
